Ingredients:
- 2 cups gram flour (this lentil flour gives the nutty flavour)
- 2 cups mealie meal
- 5 tsp Moirs Baking powder
- 4 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 ½ cups milk
- chopped nuts
- 1 tsp Xanthan gum
Method:
- Sift dry ingredients into a bowl
- Add melted marge to milk and stir into flour mixture
- Beat well for 1 minute
- Bake in small foil loaf tin lined with baking paper.
- Sprinkle top with chopped nuts
- Bake at 180 C for 40 mins.
